Happy Sunday, how good are crumpets? They are my favourite, I Love how they have holes on top of them so what ever you put on top of the crumpets its fills up the flavours in the holes in them. Specially honey, Maple Syrup, butter and the list goes on! they are also so light to eat and have a beautiful texture in them and delightful to eat they are good as sweets or savoury. Today for breakfast I did a sweet with savoury.
A French crumpet toast, with spices of cinnamon sugar, mix spice and ginger powder with some cooked yellow peache’s cooked with a little butter that gave them a slight char with shoulder bacon cut into star’s with drizzel of maple syrup over it with dusted icing sugar like snow, did my best for the recipe today, Enjoy your day much loved Lisa ????????
